SAN ROSSORE PARK PISA
The natural park of Migliarino, San Rossore, Massaciuccoli is a protected natural area established in 1979 extends on the coast of the provinces of Pisa and Lucca and includes the Lake of Massaciuccoli and the mouths of the rivers Arno and Serchio River dead.
An archaeological site was discovered in the estate of San Rossore. the former presidential estate of San Rossore is open to the public every day in the area between Old Farmhouses and La Sterpaia.
The remaining portion, except in coastal part, is free on Sundays and public holidays, and from Tuesday to Friday is accessed via an entrance fee or annual subscription. For guided tours every day contact the visitor center and Access Guide on toy trains, horses and carriages.
Internal areas are allowed access on foot, on horseback and by bicycle. The Maquis of Lucca, Lake Massaciuccoli, Tenuta di Coltano and part of the estates of Migliarino and Tombolo can be visited freely. On Massaciuccoli Lake can be visited by boat.
On March 18 there is a rowing race, canoe from Interregional in ponte di mezzo.
